The Landscape show was a pleasant surprise this year, with Paving products being probably the highest industry exhibitors in attendance.

Many of the stone exhibitors showing their porcelain and polished products which seem to be becoming ever more fashionable and in demand.

Paving companies present this year:

  • Global Stone
  • London Stone
  • Stone Trader
  • Mcmonagle Stone
  • Tobermore
  • CED
  • GFTK NCC (jointing compound)
  • Allgreen group

No cutting edge new products to report on, Global stone have now started to offer machining of their products to enable custom step treads, grids, bullnoses etc.

The show is predominantly to sell to the landscapers, landscape architects and garden designers in the London and surrounding areas.

The show didn’t look massively busy but the report I got from a lot of the exhibitors is that there were flurries and the people that they were speaking to were exactly the people they were hoping to be speaking to.

Landscape were giving away pink flamingos to exhibitors who would sign up on the day for next year and receive their 20% discount, of which I saw were on London stone’s, CED’s and Global stone’s stands, so it was obviously a worthwhile exhibition for them.

It reminded me a lot in size, style and type of show as Futurescape which takes place in Sandown Park in Esher in November.
